GDPR Rights
Last updated: September 13, 2026
01Overview
This page summarizes the data-protection rights you have under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) when you use Tailorline. The full policy — what we collect, why, how long we keep it, and who processes it — lives in our Privacy Policy. Nothing here grants new rights or timelines beyond what that policy promises.
02Legal Bases
We process your personal data only where we have a legal basis to do so:
- Contract: to provide the Service you signed up for (accounts, resumes, tailoring, tracking, billing).
- Consent: where you give it, for example optional marketing emails. You may withdraw consent at any time.
- Legitimate interests: to keep the Service secure and reliable (fraud prevention, abuse detection, troubleshooting), balanced against your rights.
- Legal obligation: to comply with tax, accounting, and other laws that apply to us (our payment provider handles billing records as merchant of record).
03International Transfers
We are based in Egypt, so your data is transferred to and processed there. Our subprocessors (hosting, email delivery, payment processing) may process data in other countries. Where data leaves the European Economic Area, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses with our subprocessors.
04Your Rights
You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you and to receive a copy in a portable format. You can download a copy of your data at any time from your Profile via "Download your data". You have the right to request deletion (the right to erasure): you can permanently delete your account and all associated data from your Profile via "Delete account". You also have rights to rectification, restriction and objection.
To exercise any of these rights, or if you have a question about our processing, contact us at [email protected]. We will respond within a reasonable time and, in the European Economic Area, within one month where required. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection supervisory authority.
